Astounding record start to finish. This is a proper banger. Very little here to complain about.. Sleeves are good quality and designed well. The record dead flat, dead quiet. Sound quality is exceptional and a delight to the ears. Full body sound full soundstage and you can hear everything. Sound good no matter the volume. This has to be one of this years top 10 jazz records..

Killer album all the way around. First 50 copies pre-ordered from World Circuit website were signed by Tony Allen. Truly a gift from the music gods here in 2020.

This is one of those albums when you're saying, 5 stars is not enough! The pressing is fantastic! Very quiet, great mix, and Tony's drums sound glorious! What obviously steels the show is the interaction between these guys. Tony has that ability to keep the groove going with interesting accents and Hugh fits right in there, not crowding, and offering creative improv to carry the tune forward. I know little about Tony apart from him being part of Fela Kuti's band back in the day, and Hugh writing Grazing In The Grass. Furthermore, I know nothing about the other guys in the band, but they are all a collective bad ass!! I give it NINE STARS!!!
