To all my fellow discographers who are continuing to lust after a copy of this most elusive disc, I have splendid news to share with you all. Just today, I was in my local public lavatories, relieving the pressure in my bladder when the gentleman next to me happened to mention, to his friend, that there will be a repressing of the hallowed Doğu Çiçekleri long player. But it was when, he said, "pre-orders will appear next week" that I became so elated, that I suffered a momentary lapse of concentration, and accidentally let out the most enormous and loud, earth-shattering fart!!

Light in the Attic but it appears the pre-order for the US release has already sold out. https://lightintheattic.net/releases/6621-eastern-flowers

Nice Information. Do you you know where the pre-order will take place, directly from the label?

This album is incredible. I put down Lotus to start a party and the whole room filled with people. Great record. Great pressing.

I cannot pronounce the title of this record, but I can tell you it is extremely funky! However if you are feeling sad because you unluckily did not get one, please do not worry, as I think that the nice men and ladies at Piano Piano Recording Inc. will hear many tearful pleas and decide that they must mercifully repress 500 or more copies at once!!

No reissue is planned as yet but there is a new LP already in the making. I'm sure a reissue will happen at a later date.

Very nice album very close to the two albums of the Lebanese "Cosmic Analog Ensemble" we've released in 2016 and 2018: oriental jazz funk, psych fuzz fusion and library style with a hard drum and bass breaks base.It looks like following also the Turkish revival wave started by Altin Gun and more recently Sebastian Kit. I'd like to get more information on this project, the musicians behind... seems like it's a ghost project and concept album from the Timmion records studio team .The music is very well crafted, solos and instrument sounds tight. Happy to get a copy few days ago for a reasonable price. The label should make a reissue quickly!

A little bird told me about this fresh Timmion pressing. Totally love the mastering, cutting and pressing these guys are doing and sometimes I buy records, just because they went through the Timmion process...anyway, this one is quite a huge library related recommendation and is done in style and from my point of view it pays hommage to the italian old school libraries that many people love so much nowadays. The sound quality is overwhelming (it's Timmion, you remember?) and the music itself is wild and heavy as ****. Massive eastern vibes and super crazy drums. If this was an artefact from back in the days, it would be one of those records, people pay thousands of dollars for. And people probably will in 20 years...this is something for the beat heads, psych and prog collectors and library aficionado alike. The composer Sven Wunder is a big question mark but if I had to guess, I would expect artists like Malcolm Catto, Jan Weissenfeldt, Shawn Lee or people who have contributed music to projects like The Malcouns, Heliocentrics or Drummetrics, behind this record. Not giving any information about the actual instrumantalists and leaving the listener in the dark with a unknown pseudonym is another friendly hint pointing towards italian libraries secretly. But it's not only the music I really like. Just check all the further little details like cover and label design and also the concept, that is similar to other library records. Every track on this record has the name of a plant like three other italian library records that i have posted in here a while back. The cover illustration is flowery and would probably have attracted producers that were looking for cues for a plant fertiliser commercial or the background music for a florist's store add. This does not make any sense at all, but is the thing everybody loves so much about these records. The extremely minimalsitic rear cover design looks very familiar and reminds of records from the Leonardi vaults and many others. Label design continues in the same manner and those Amedeo Tommasi private pressings (Mare Romantico,...) came to my mind immediately. Check it out and don't sleep as this will not be around for too long. Would be great to see more releases like this...
