Im used to get a low grade quality from "Nuclear Blast" but this pressing must be the worst i have from them.. despite they cut music from the CD (as always) and the sound is very bad, the pressing has insane deformations and surface noise.. I hope never again buy vinyl from them.. They don't respect ours money..

This is metalI'm sorry for the cheeky opening, but this is metal. Loud, dark, heavy. It does not get more metal than this. This is the stuff I would let people hear who say to me they like metal and talk about Linkin Park, Papa Roach and that they like the heavy stuff like Iron Maiden too. That's a whole other interpertation of the word heavy. This album was also available in a limited edition audio book version with no reason to buy since it does not have a single extra track. (Not even the cover of Ignite's Our Dakest Days / Bleeding released on the 10" Killers And Kings).The last two albums had 8 and 7 songs. My main comment on the "Unto The Locust" album was that 7 tracks just wasn't enough to be called an album so you can imagine I was pleased to hear this album has 12 tracks. Also, this is the first album with Jared Maceachern replacing original member Adam Duce. The two opening tracks were already released (or officially leaked as they somehow seem to call it these days). "Now We Die" is one of my favourite tracks of the album. It is heavy, beautiful, touching and energetic all at once. The second track "Killers and Kings" is mainly just a killer heavy track. Followed by masterpieces "Night of Long Knives" and "Ghost Will Haunt My Bones" we arrive at the real suprise of the album. "Sail Into The Black" starts out with low throat sounds and build up slowly to a screaming Flynn screaming out his frustrations. Not really a heavy or fast track but certainly one of the best tracks of the album. The track quality remains high with "Game Over" being my favourite of the second half of the album. Damage Inside is the slow ballad that would fit in the "The Burning Red" album. Not really my thing. The second last track "Imaginal Cells" is an instrumental track with some audio book fragments I need to listen to some more to get the message. All and all the album never bores and is very well built even though some recordings were recorded at the back of the tour bus as the information on the album says. Amazed Robert Flynn and the guys were able to keep the songwriting at this level for four albums in a row! Final judgement; Very well written album, heavy and emotional at once with a few suprises on the way.
