Puzzle solved. There are 3 different covers that are very slightly different in the repress version. The photographs on the repress covers show the same setting/scenery, but have been taken moments earlier or more probably later, which i think is a brilliant idea for a repress cover! First of all: Yes, you can put a repress disc into an original cover and sell it as an unplayed original if that's your thing (i would consider it fraud, too, by the way). That doesn't change the fact that there's a repress with different covers that deserve its own release. Second: I don't get your "twin-release" theory. Both represses have been released at the same time, sold seperately, yes. So what? I really don't get your complaints and I'm starting to get tired of this to be honest ...

I just have one potential FRAUD concern: technically I can put "new repressed vinyl" into "original sleeve" and sell it as "original unplayed". not good. second thing: Nothing 2 Loose and Mudshadow Propaganda considered as twin release. PMoD keeps the same cover. Therefore both releases are same with additional covers. Why do we want to branch them ? For the sale purpose ? As I said, I can easily create semi fake original pressing.

I just want to make a note commenting on the quality and care that was put into shipping this. I live in the US and this was shipped from Germany. The vinyl was shipped outside the jacket and cardboard was placed inside the jacket so it couldn’t be crushed. It was in a record mailer wrapped in tissue paper with an All Possible Worlds logo stamped on it (super classy!). It arrived in perfect condition, I’m grateful to have a copy of this emotive masterpiece. Thanks All Possible Worlds!

As it turned out, there seems to be slightly different covers in the repress version. I therefore (re-)created another release for the repress. I know some of you would like to have their represses listed as a first release, but since the cover-art of the repress is obviously different, as it turned out now, a second release should definitly exist. Regarding the cover-art: If you have already posted your repress covers on the original release page, or if they have been moved by the merge, PLEASE remove them or better yet move them over to the repress release, so that things don't get messed up completely. Also, if your cover-art version is not listed yet, please post it in the corresponding release... I hope we can manage to get a complete overview of all existing versions of the original and the repress cover-art out there by doing so! THX

  lestini same here, got the mirrored "Black Stars" cover, it seems to be the same image as of the original release, but mirrored. The "Massive Cloud" cover seems to be another shot of the same sky on the repress and not mirrored   TMBCT). So if anybody has the third (last?) cover of the Repress, the alternate "Cloud Strip", please let us know! Also, since it seems obvious now that the covers of the repress have been altered, I would say there should be definitely another release added (the one that has been merged some days ago...!)

Got my repress copy today––it appears the repress artwork is a slightly altered mirror image of the original cover art. I have an original press "Black Stars" cover and coincidentally received a "Black Stars" repress cover––however, there are subtle yet noticeable differences between the two.

If you listen carefully, it’s just the very first seconds of a 10 minute track that changes in tonality after 2 Minutes. So talking about “almost the entirety” is complete nonsense and should be corrected. Also you probably don’t know if dj healer may or may not have an agreement with stars of the Lid to use these samples, so please be careful with what you write in release notes! I wouldn’t mind this note completely removed from the release info, for the given reasons.

I always want to know when samples are used. I want to know who really deserves credit, in particular when the samples aren't used in any particularly creative way. Give credit to the people who actually made the music. Yes lots of artists do it, and in all cases credit should be acknowledged. PS: for some of these even if they aren't sampled they are very close stylistic models. Try comparing "Hopes And Fears" to Stars of the Lid's "Articulate Silences part 2."

the track "god's creation" is actually the creation of Stars of the Lid, their track entitled "I Will Surround You" from their Avec Laudenum album, this hack just played the song and then took a crap over it, outrageous theft without licensing or proper credit

It’s just a short sample of the stars of the lid track, not the entire song. I wouldn’t consider sampling as stealing, it’s an essential part of so many genres that couldn’t exist without, so sampling is ok, imo. But I agree on giving credits at a certain level, in this case, I’m not sure.

On a whim I decided to see if it matched anything in the Bible. Matthew 16:19 says, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” So perhaps "loose" in this album title is meant as a verb.

I love this LP. It is a journey into the Prince´s personality and gets us closer than we have ever been before. The tracks are heavily emotional and listening to them makes you think about yourself, what is important in life and give you the feeling that this world is actually a pretty good place to live in.Still, there is one thing that would make me love this LP even more. While the focus this time clearly lies on ambient, I miss the trancy / breakbeat style that made the previous DJ Metatron releases so special for me. Utterly uninspired and bland. My guess is fans of this only started listening to electronic music in the last 5 years and think ambient is a new genre. I used to think highly of this artist, but his recent output feels rushed and mediocre.

I grew up in the 90s listening to ambient music...I continue to do it now...and I still don't get the point of your criticism about listening to this today just cause I know very well ambient music (f.e. Chill Out from The K.L.F.). You make think the old quote: "haters gonna hate..."

This is undoubtedly a good follow and up, though It's interesting to witness people here mention their fav cut on the LP is "Protectionspell", the German dude whispering English poetry jumbo is absolute cringe and adds an unwanted layer of humour to the track, which to my ears is a shame because it's evidently a lovely ambient track. See Shed's 'Wave Mind' for a similar example. None the less i'm aware this is merely a personal opinion.PS: both my copies arrived slightly damaged (to right corner) any one else had the same issue or was I merely unlucky?

To be fair I'm not a huge fan of this track either because of this ASMRish component but I like what he says and the way he choses to express his thoughts and feelings by talking over the track.

Definitely one of the best album produced by the Prince. He has always been very consistent with his work through the years but this one just captures emotion and beauty in its finest DJ Metatronish essence, absolutely stunning piece!

"2 the Dark" is my Favourite - so minimal, so emotional, so timeless...best Metatron so far for me ;-)Overall a balanced mix of Ambient and stripped back (break-)beats, with the synth lines and their classic sound palette creating a quite innocent feeling on the Album.
